Croggy Brett Saison is brewed with a hefty dose of mosaic hops, un-malted wheat, and rolled oats. This Saison possesses a tropical fruit character and snappy aroma that partners perfectly with the crisp, dry tartness of the Brettanomyces yeast. Pop the cork and hang on for the ride.

Bottle. Crystal clear golden yellow color big fluffy white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of peppery stone fruit covered in cobwebs and left in attic corners. Taste is very fruity, dusty dry. Very tasty.

32oz growler from Stateline Liquors. Ben sipping on this for a while. This beer seemed very solid from the small sample but 32oz help get a better feel. Aroma has a present brettiness but it’s muddled by some slickness and sweetness. The brett is also a lightly oily, a little herbal but not clear and centered. Flavor follows suit with some light peach esters, a slick mouthfeel and a lightly herbal and bitter brett. Just a messy version of similar but better executions if a bretty saison. I love brett, so it’s doable but for the cost of the bottles, I see no reason to return.

On Tap slightly hazy irange golden. Thin wispy white head and lacing. Pale golden malts, some caramel light toast. Mild bret character, and modest saison yeast notes. A pretty mild easy to drink example of this style.

750 c&c from Corti Bros. Pours bright gold with a white head. Aroma is Brett with some citrus. Med body or so. Flavor is Brett, citrus, and more funk than just the Brett I think. Dry. Bretty. No bite; no acidity to mention. Just a good old funky saison. Quite delicious.
