We gave it the name ’23 Trees’ as a dedication to replace 23 ancient trees that were needlessly felled by our neighbour on the bordering land to our Organic farm on the Black Isle. We will replace these 23 Trees and will plant 200 more in their place.

On keg at the Black Isle Bar, Inverness. Appearance - pale yellow and hazy. Neat lacing. Nose - a mixture of tropical and citrus at the front. Then saison yeast kicks in at the back. Taste - pineapple and lemon/lime. Pepper and something candied too. Palate - light bodied but very persistent. Tangy texture with a sour edge to it. Overall - very nice.

Hazy pale golden colour, tall lasting frothy white head, good lacing. Aroma pale malt, grain, yeast, lemon, hay. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, fruity (lemon and peach), spicy notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, dry sweetbitter finish, fruity, light orange pith, spicy notes. Crisp, very refreshing, actually quite good.

Keg at the Black Isle Bar. Pours hazy golden with a thin white head. Aromas of lime rind, passion fruit, light resin. Taste is more lime, some pepperiness. Faint tropical fruit. Dry finish.

Tap @ Fermentoren Aarhus as "Black Isle Citra Saison". Hazy golden with medium off-white head. Aroma is malt, yeast, candy and orange. Flavour is malt, fruit, yeast, candy, medium sweet, orange, butter and a little bitter.
