Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma combines grass, citrus and hay with a bit of bread underlying. Flavor has a good amount of earthy pine with grass and a bit of grain backing.

Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a gold body that has just a hint of haze and supports a near white head. The modest aroma offers up hop fruity juiciness that’s sort of mango and cantaloupe and then grassy notes that lead into mild sort of spicy almost dank onions near the end of the draw. The taste pulses with juicy hoppy fruity notes of tangelo and grapefruit and then a little bit of mango. It then quickly slides into more and more resiny citrusy hop bitterness. This ends with modest resiny hoppiness that has a thick edge of citrus hop bitterness. This has loads of flavor and depth and balance for a relatively small beer at 5.5%. Solid.

On tap @ the Field Gaslamp, bright yellow with a nice white head, slightly cloudy, really mouth watering appearance. Aroma is tropical fruit, floral, big hop nose, grapefruit, some bread. Taste is the same, doesn’t quite live up to the aroma, but still very appetizing, nice bitter finish.
