Sample at the Aces & Ales Winter Beer Fest on 01/17/2015. The beer is a clear brownish-amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, caramel and hops. Medium body with flavors of caramel malt, citrus and mild hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

A Red Ale according to the chalkboard behind the bar in the Brewpub and tasty according to the barman. I ask for one on my flight and it is duly poured for me. It was a clear dark amber colour with an off-white head. Malty nose with some caramel and milk chocolate notes: slight citrus hop hints too. The taste was more robust with a dark chocolate, caramel flavor, might even have found liquorice flavours also. Malty from start to finish, an idea foil to the Bonobos which sat next to it on the flight.
