Stewart’s Lager is a crisp, dry, and refreshing classic lager, brewed with precision and tradition. Pale straw in colour with a dense white head, this beer showcases the noble Saaz hops, which lend a refreshing earthy citrus character. The use of lager malt and bottom-fermenting yeast results in a light, clean, and moreish beer that’s perfect for any occasion.

Bottle from the brewery. Hazy pale golden body with a medium white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of chalky lemon and Rich Tea biscuit. Flavour of grain, rice cake and lemon. Thin body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A tasty Lager that would be even better with a bit more carbonation. It would be good to see this made as available as the likes of (the inferior) Innes & Gunn’s Lager.
