Baltic Porter - dark, strong lager which is Polish "treasure beer". Classic version of Baltic Porter (with Plato extract around 20°) is brewed with a few Polish breweries. We, as PINTA, respect a value of Polish treasure but at the same time we go extra mile to create our own vision of classical beer. We are proud to present Imperator Bałtycki (Baltic Emperor) - dark giant made of malts and hops. PINTA Imperator Bałtycki - festive beer.
Ingredients: water, Weyermann® barley malts: Munich I, pilsner, diastatic barley, Vienna, Caramunich® III, Caraaroma®, Carafa® Special I; sugar; hops (USA): Amarillo®, Ahtanum®, Centennial, El Dorado®, Mosaic™, Zeus; yeast: Saflager™ W 34/70.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks David C. Dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of dark bread, roastiness, malt, a bit of licorice notes and a bit of coffee notes. Sweet flavor, roasty, with a bit of coffee, a bit of licorice hints, some fruity hops and a bitter finish, hoppy and roasty. Medium-bodied.

Aromat mocno chmielony, palony slod, czekolada bardzo gozka. Piwo to jest dla mnie dziwne bo raczej zblizone do Black IPA niz do portera baltyckiego, ewentualnie do imperialnego. Jest tu maslana slodowosc, goraca gozka czekolada, wytrawna koncowka choc sprawia wrazenie slodkiego podczas picia no i piana bardzo wielka, ciemno zolta. Kolor piwa ciemno brazowy z bordowym refleksem. Wysoko odfermentowane piwo tresciwe i smaczne. Ale chmiele amerykanskie mysle ze tu sie niezbyt nadaja. Zbyt dominuja a w tym gatunku tak nie powinno byc. Minus za cene bo to jak na razie najdrozsze polskie piwo.
