Tropical Sour Weisse

Notes from 5/11/19 2018 bottle from the downtown brewery location. The one without AC, but is more charming. Duvel tulip. Cloudy, pineapple sort of color with a hint of activity. Sour peach, sour pineapple, guava. Not incredibly potent, as you have to stick your nose in it a bit, but genuine. Bracing peach & lemon upfront. Slick texture. Acetone. Lime juice. Gum. Sour passion fruit on the bitter, lightly herbal finish. Little urgency to refill my glass. Okay flavors, just a bit too cringe-y of a sour, with not enough reward for the effort.

Draft at Pint Central. Cloudy pale yellow color scant head. Aroma of earthy tropical fruit. Taste is tart citrus and tropical fruit, earth and salt. OK.
