Keg at fierce Edinburgh. Pours black, nose coconut, liquorice, chocolate, caramel, taste is similar, rich, sweet, fainter on the raspberry compared to the original. --- Beer merged from original tick of Double Lamington Stout on 10 Mar 2020 at 09:44 - Score: 7

Keg at Fierce Bar, Aberdeen. It pours opaque jet black with a decent tan head. The aroma is big, sweet, bright, sticky, juicy, jammy raspberry, jam rolly polly, big toasted coconut, chocolate, bounty bar, some creaminess, sponge cake, bakewell tart and vanilla. The taste is soft, bitter - sweet, chocolate cake upfront, toasted coconut, cherry, jammy raspberry, bakewell tart, earthy roast, touch of booze, bounty bar, sponge cake and light umami with a drying, toasty finish. Medium+ body and moderate carbonation. Drinks way easier tuna it should. Never to sweet. True to the Lamington. Nice work.
