South Pacific Pale Ale
Kipling was the first UK beer to use the exquisite Nelson Sauvin hop from New Zealand. We brew this as a SMASH (Single Malt and Single Hop) using the heritage Maris Otter as a base malt which works to allow the complex flavour of this hop to really shine through. There is a grassy, grapefruit character on the nose, followed by passionfruit and mango. It finishes with a balanced and thirst-quenching bitterness.

Can from Great Grog. Clear golden body with a white head that holds well. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of gooseberry, kiwi fruit and lemon meringue. Flavour of passionfruit, sauvignon blanc and lemon grass. Thin to medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. A crisp, tasty beer.

Tap @ Craft Beer Co. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are flowers, hops, sweet malt and fruits. Oily palate.

Aroma - citrus hops...grapefruit...hint of orange..citrus fruits...sweet pale malts...great aroma
Taste - Sweet grapefruit hops..great grapefruit flavour...sweet citrus fruits...soft pale malts...not complex but the flavour is superb and its refreshing
Palate - soft carb...citrus sweer nice licghr citrus sourness. Finish of grapefruity hops..fresh..tangy...clears well of palate
Overall - I really like this beer. It’s better on cask. But after trying Buxton Wild Boar, that’s better

0.5l bottle from MyBrewtab. Pours a near-clear golden-yellow body with a small just off-white light bubbly head. Some american hops and grapefruit was the first thing that hit my nose. Also tones of, no, make that lots of cat piss! Slick mouthfeel with a average carbonation level. Quite easy to drink this one. Citrus and not least grapefruit dominating flavors with both malty and hoppy tones. Quite bitter but not before the finish. yeah, not to bad. Aha, the label says Nelson Sauvin.. I had a suspicion ;) 13.01.2012

Cask @ Gallow’s Bird Real Ale Festival 2012
Pours light orange with a large bubbly white head. Fruity, grassy aroma with hints of malts and hops. Fruity and slightly watery taste with notes of exotic fruits, grass, pine and hops. Finish is quite smooth and slightly bitter. Well balanced, tasty APA.

50cl bottle @ RBBWG 2012, Antwerpen courtesy of Bart. Dorée et blanche. Arôme est fleuri et malté, le tout laissant la part belle au houblon pour développer un bouquet généreux qui est fruité/fleuri. En bouche, houblon fleuri et épicé, avec une pointe d’amertume citronnée et fruitée venant du Sauvin, laissant une impression de raisin blanc frais. Caractère malté allant vers un type crystal.

Fra kran på Schouskjelleren, Oslo 18 Okt 11. Gylden. Litt uklar. Pent luftig skum som varer. Skummet fester seg til glasset. Flott, litt tungfruktig aroma. Smaken er rikt fruktig. Litt tung også den. Aprikos & rabarbra. Svakt tørr ettersmak.
