Bottle Black pour with a rocky tan head. Aroma of alcohol, coffee, chocolate, faint cherry. The flavor has chocolate first and foremost, with coffee following. Moderate sweetness. I didn't get any coconut. Full bodied, warming

Good stout, a touch sweet but with a nice mellow mixture of vanilla and earthy coconut with a milk chocolate base and blossoming coffee notes on the finish. Anise and roasted malt add an imperial stout flourish, while the finish grows somewhat dry and slightly warm. Could use a slight more depth, but otherwise a tasty pint.

Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a pitch black with a finger of brown head that lingers. Lots of cacao nib, milk chocolate and vanilla bean in the nose. Smooth and decadent. Lots of vanilla on the palate. ABV is hidden very well. Great stuff.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell during the "Land-Grant Collab (The Corsica) Launch + Empanadas Food Truck" event on 01/19/2018. Brown-black color with a medium khaki head that dissipates steadily to a film. Sparse patches of lace. Aroma of roast malt, coconut and coffee. Medium body with flavors of chocolate malt, coconut, vanilla and coffee. The finish is roasty with a malt and coconut aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Draft at Growler USA. Dark brown with tan head. Taste is too sweet for an impy, vanilla overload and milk chocolate.

Draft at Duckworth’s, staff recommendation. Dark brown color. Aroma of dark milk chocolate. Taste is chocolate and coffee. Not really sweet, not really earthy either.

Pour is a almost near black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malt and a nice bakers chcocolate. Flavor is sweeter with more of a milk chocolate with some coffee bitterness. Finish leaves a sticky chocolate on the tongue. A bit thin for a Impy stout but this was still flavorful with plenty of roast and chocolate.
