Sour Beer + Oak Barrel Aged + Blending 2021.
A blended beer that brings together traditional brewing methods, oak barrel ageing, wild yeasts and the palates of the Wild Beer blending team.
Tasting 70 barrel samples, they were whittled down to a blend of 20 different batches of different ages & flavours. Looking to deliver a balance of Burgundy red wine & Kentucky Bourbon.
Initial toffee & caramel are backed by bright sour and sweet cherry notes. To finish, dark chocolate unified by a balsamic character marry together to create a tart beginning and mouth watering end.
