The hop flavor’s big, but like life in New Orleans, we’re taking it easy. This Session IPA is brewed with lemon peels and dry hopped with Cascade, Amarillo, Centennial and Simcoe for a hoppy aroma of citrus, fruit and pine. Easy to drink and just right for long hot days, steamy nights, parades or a day on the river with friends.

Pours a clear, light golden-yellow, with mid-sized head. Very grassy in aroma and flavor. Flavor also has some citrus and a touch of spiciness in the finish, almost like pepper. Nothing too special.

Bottle, small bubbly head, just a touch hazy yellow color, aroma of shrubs, orange marmalade and flowers aroma with some fruitiness in theback, shrubby minty grapefruit flavor with herbal tea and a touch of soapiness in the back, a bit strong and abraisive carbonation. A bit subdued but still quite nice.

At work party: pours golden with a white head. Aroma is lightly lemony from the lemons and lightly citrus from the hops. Not a whole lot happening on the bitterness from. Citrusy taste. Easy ans unexciting.

Bottle, Total Wine, Gainesville. Chunky pour, lots of gunk pouring out of the bottle, perhaps more than I’ve ever seen. Is this Bubble Tea? Best by 9/16/16, so not old-old. Aroma of citrus and floral hops - quite nice, actually. Flavor is lemon-black tea, light, only slightly sweetened. Minor soap in the end. Not bad, but it’s missing something.

Bot. pale with tons of little chunks in there. Smells like IPA with no BO. Thick bitter hops flavor with a big dull thud for a finish. IPA fer sure. A little veggy thru the session. Just another IPA. What else can be said; big veggy hop flavor with easy alky. There you have it, big & easy. Not impressed.
