On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a hazy pinkish amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out tart cherries, pith and light wood. Flavour is fresh and puckering, with tart cherries and light oak. Fresh and nicely balanced. Very good.

375 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 2/23/2017. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy reddish/pinkish orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy light pink head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of huge sweet/sour red/black cherries, raspberry, fruit skin, cherry pits, lemon, lime, green apple, red grape, white wine, almond, vanilla, pepper, oak, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light funk/vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Incredible aromas with fantastic complexity and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, cherries, wine barrels, and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big sweet/sour red/black cherries, raspberry, fruit skin, cherry pits, lemon, lime, green apple, red grape, white wine, almond, vanilla, pepper, oak, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light funk/vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and yeast/oak spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of sweet/sour cherries, raspberry, fruit skin, cherry pits, lemon, lime, green apple, red grape, white wine, almond, vanilla, pepper, oak, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light funk/vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, cherries, wine barrels, and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tartness and tangy fruit balance; with no puckering flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from tartness and fruit tang. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately bready/grainy/acidic/tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.8%. Overall this is a fantastic fruited sour/wild ale! All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, cherries, wine barrels, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly lactic/tangy/tannic/drying finish. Super jammy and tastes just like cherry pie as advertised. Awesome Brett complexity and solid Lacto presence, against a ton of fruit character. A highly enjoyable offering.

Red and cloudy. Thin head. Has a nice, medium cherry nose. Has a really tasty, clean cherry and kettle sour note. Generally good of unspectacular.

Bottle from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours rather cherry/pink/rose with a creamy/bubbly pink head. Aroma of mildly, mildly sour cooking cherry. Near med body. The cherries are not cooking cherries. But there is cherry, and there’s a light Brettness. The result is a not very sour, not at all tart, cherry ale. Very good tho.

Hazy red color with compact pink head. Very mild aroma of cherry and pomegranate. The mouthfeel is very dry, but soft; mild fruity flavor, just a hint of cherry, with medium acidity, and some astringent tannins in the finish.
Balanced fruit Sour.
