16oz can into a Tripel Karmeliet glass. Nice flavor, mouthfeel. Sort of odd aroma, a little boozy, flowery. Almost has a honey note to me. A little off center for the style, but enjoyable for what it is.

Draught @ the taproom, Chicago IL (Oct 2024). Faintly cloudy pale yellow with a small frothy off-white head, yeasty aroma medium carbonation, initially sweet malty taste with Belgian yeast characteristics, alcohol undertones, thin body, long finish with some throat burn at the end. Decent tripel.

8 ounce at The Mousetrap - very pale, clear gold - looks like a Pilsner- lovely, soft, dry, moderately bitter, and lightly spicy - a nice departure from the overly-sweet, overly-estery versions you usually get from American brewers.

12oz bottle poured into a 12oz teku glass from Shy Bear Brewing. Just the palest take on a tripel I've ever seen. Yet a big and long lasting head. Very pretty and novel for style. You now, another novel thing, it's not a sweet American tripel. Aroma is a bit of a light herbal liquor with a candi mild sweetness. Very earthy and botanical-like sweet light dough. Very interesting. Mouthfeel is light and felt at the same time. Slightly sticky. Flavor is similar lightly sprinkled candi suggests ar crush with a mild botanical character. Really easy to drink, felt on the cheeks, and a light carbonation to lighten everything. I'm partial to the style but this is a really good US version.

12 ounce bottle. Straw gold color. Small pillowy white head. Faint sweet grainy malt nose. Sweet candy-like malt flavor. Fruity notes. Rather light in body for a Belgian-style Tripel. Lacks complexity. No notice of the 8.5% ABV.
