Jacks & Jokers has long been our 6.5% IPA featuring two legendary Pacific Northwest hops: Amarillo and Simcoe. Two varietals destined for each other. Sweet orange blossom meets pine, stone fruit, and berry.
In addition to that classic cultivar combo, this batch of Jacks & Jokers was brewed with 2-row, Vienna, and carapils. It’s nice and cuddly, while still finishing with a familiar West Coasty crispness.

Pint can from Wine Warehouse, 10.2.20. Hazy orange large foamy offwhite head good retention. Aroma of lime, mango, mandarins, pale malt. Taste is mandarins, mango, grapefruit, lime, pale malt. Medium bodied, low bitterness. Nice.

$4.30 pint can, WW. Hazy gold with a soft off-white head. Orange zest, fruit loops, pineapple nose. Bitter grapefruit peel, resin, bitter green grasses, bitter pineapple. All bitter, not juicy. Decent, but missing something.

Tap at Ocelot Brewing, Dulles. Color is cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, hops and malts. Simple but OK.

Draft at Ocelot. Poured a light hazy yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was juicy tropical hop notes. Light bitter hop, floral notes. Light lemon character. Tasty, really nice. Bitterness is pretty low. Dry. Not overly fruity, but a solid IPA. Nice!!!

Pineapple booze like you spilled vodka on your fruit platter. Hazy orange pour with decent head and lacing. Bitter tangy finish. Fresh hops up in here.

On draft at Dominion Wine and Beer. Pours a cloudy gold with an off white head. Fruity nose. Flavors of tropical fruits Moderately bitter finish.

On tap at Churchkey pours a lightly hazy yellow with some lacing, white head. Nose is punchy with dank vegetal notes, bright citrus, some grass, straw, mild soap. Flavor is the same, some lemon, but quite a bit of soap and pine with a little grist rounding it out. Dry, bitter finish. Those looking for a juice bomb won’t be happy, but I was. Solid, old school IPA.
