(On tap @ MBCC 2017 Yellow Session, Copenhagen) Pours hazy pink-orange colour with a white head. Notes of quite a lot of watermelon and flowers, lightly bready/wheaty malt, a touch sweet and very low on bitterness, not really tart at all, somewhat watery. Light body, average carbonation. No frills here, it's a watermelon beer that's clean, refreshing and tastes like watermelon. Not necessarily the thing you want much of the time but it accomplishes its intent well.

Country #58 - Brazil 🇧🇷 Overly carbonated, took nearly 10 minutes to pour the whole can due to the ridiculous head.

Can, don’t remember if it was dated, drunk at Doc Ponds on 5/25/17.
Clear, amber-rose-gold with a medium-sized, off-white head that sits at cover.
Watermelon juice is quite strong in the nose, though there’s nothing artificial about it, nor does it give sugary/syrupy impressions. Light honey and vanilla-like malt notes join with it and there’s a moderately fruity ester character. Light earthiness and a bit of leathery acid from the hibiscus. Clean with some slight phenolic character from the watermelon juice fermentation and a bit of rustic character overall from the interplay of melon, hibiscus and yeast.
Soft, light, dry, slightly watery as expected with a lovely melon flesh/juice character mixing with mild hibiscus that contributes light acidity. Honey-like malts fill the finish and interesting esters/phenols and more acidity lingers lightly on the finish. Mild, fairly engaging carbonation. Certainly a very-maligned style (light fruited golden ale) but this was clean, authentic-tasting and didn’t forget the malt. About as good as you’re going to get here.

Draught at MBCC, first, yellow, session. Misty amber-reddish body, white head with a shade of pink. Lacing rings. Mid-dry melon aroma. Plain melon taste. Refreshing and above par for a fruit beer. (Copenhagen 12.05.2017).

16 ounce can into pint glass, best before 11/2017. Pours slightly hazy golden/orange/light pinkish color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy light pink head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lightly tart watermelon, cucumber, berry, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of watermelon, pale malt, earthy hops, and light fruity yeast notes; with solid strength. Taste of lightly tart watermelon, cucumber, berry, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/grassy/spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of watermelon, cucumber, berry, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for as good bit. Nice robustness and balance of watermelon, pale malt, earthy hops, and light fruity yeast flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness and carbonation, increasing through the glass. High carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, and moderately bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.7%. Overall this is a nice fruit beer. All around good robustness and balance of watermelon, pale malt, earthy hops, and light fruity yeast flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Nicely flavorful and not watery feeling for the ABV. A nicely enjoyable offering.
