27/9/2024. Cask at St. Albans Beer & Cider Festival 2024. Merseyside rating #200. Pours close to black with a small lasting frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma is ashy, chocolate, blackberry, caramel, dark fruits, light roasted malt, raisins. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, light sour edge. Moderate body, oily watery, soft carbonation. Drying chocolate finish. Quite decent but lacked a bit of body.

Nice and pleasant stout. Very session able Black pour and a fine head. Ok lacing Fine intensity in the aroma. Balanced sweetness and a moderate bitterness. Also a fine carbonation level. Pleasant to drink Dark malt, chocolate and roast in the flavor [Cask at Liverpool Brewing Co Tap in Liverpool, England]
