Great news! The brewing of Cask Bitter has seen a resurgence in the British Isles over the last year and long may it continue. So what better than a malt forward special Summer Bitter in our traditional Flower Pots style. Gently bittered with subtle and refined notes of grassy meadows and stoned fruits, images abound of a lazy and carefree afternoon sipping a refreshing pint slouched in a stripy deckchair on the beach promenade watching the world go by.

[Cask at the Nags Head, Reading.] A pale amber pour with a close cream coloured head; citrusy aroma; bready body with some chewy marmalade fruit; then a sharp pithy lemon finish. Very tasty given the lowish ABV, a good choice for a summer’s afternoon.
