Can at nicks. Pours clear ruby, nose blackcurrant, brandy, bit of funk, caramel, toffee, taste is sweet toffee, chewy, berries, caramel, brandy. 8/7/8/8/8

(Draft at Taplokaal Gist, Utrecht, 26 Feb 2026) Black colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted, spicy nose with herbs, liquorice, mint and coffee. Malty, spicy taste with notes of liquorice, coffee, oak wood, brandy and a mild herbal bitterness in the finish. Full body, with a touch of sweetness. Quite complex and herbal with a good barrel character. Very nice.

Opaque deep brown with a one finger tall ivory-colored head of medium retention. Various malts,bread, toast & caramel, prunes, dates & figs, esters, oak barrel, nuts, slightly funky, Spicy notes. Complex. Warming. Smooth. Well done.

Taste comprises dark fruit rinds, bourbon, light spice, caramel, herb, grass.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow rising boost.

Barwa bardzo ciemnego brązu, z delikatnymi, kasztanowymi refleksami. Piana jasno brązowa, średnio wysoka o średnim czasie redukcji. Drobne pęcherzyki topnieją do delikatnego, spienionego, kożucha.
W aromacie nuty suszonych, smażonych, ciemnych owoców (głównie śliwka, wiśnia), dalej słodowość, słodycz marmolady, odrobina wanilii, akcenty czerwonego wina. Wszystkie te aromaty okraszone są nutami szlachetnego alkoholu, brandy.
Smak lekko słodkawy, ale i delikatnie kwaśny ze współgrającą, nieco mocniejszą goryczką na finiszu.
Alkohol idealnie schowany. Ciało wydaje się być tylko średnie. Tekstura gładka. Posmak długi kwaskowy, goryczkowy.
