Our take on a Vienna-Style Lager, Barley Smalls is brewed with European Pilsner and a hefty addition of Vienna malt. Light amber in color and exceptionally smooth, this beer boasts biscuity malt aroma and flavor balanced by a subtle noble hop presence. A touch of caramel sweetness further augments its clean and crisp mouthfeel, best enjoyed in the company of family and friends. Brewed and named in honor of our resident pup. Human tested, dog approved!

Broadway draught, 8/20/25.
Clear copper-tan. Good-sized, light beige head, moderate retention.
Fruity with good base malt depth and low toast. Rich honey, brown bread and earthy, herbal hops to dry things slightly. Balanced and aronatic, very clean.
Toast and sourdough up front with lemon-tinged apple and hints of caramel and toffee. Good depth, good attenuation. Nice mineral finish. I'd take some more hop flavor in place of the bitterness, but this is very well-done nonetheless.
