Pliny the Younger was first brewed as a seasonal release during the slow days of Winter 2005. As we continue to explore new hop varieties and combinations, each year we build off the previous years recipe with some slight changes. Pliny the Younger is loaded with a fresh hop aroma and flavor with notes of pine, stone fruit, citrus, and lychee. Please keep cold and enjoy fresh for the best hop aroma and flavor! 2025 Pliny The Younger is hopped with Amarillo, Citra, Mosaic, Nectaron, Simcoe, Warrior, and new this year, Tangier hops from Segal Ranch.

This one has been on the wishlist for a LONG time. Bottle courtesy of a traveling friend. The beer is a clear golden-orange color with a thick frothy off-white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Sticky partial rings of lace. Aroma of piney hops, citrus and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit, apricot and roast malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering citrusy and piney hop aftertaste. While difficult to live up to expectations after so long, it's still a damn good beer.
