Our take on a traditional English style that features Maris Otter malt and Fuggles hops, along with some caramel malts that provide its copper hue. The result is a balance of bready, toffee malt flavors and resiny hops that lend to its drinkability, especially at 4.6%

Light haze. Rusty, muted copper. Small, greyish head.
Musty, mousey, lots of cellar. Caramel, toast, vanilla and light butter (not diacetyl, I don't think).
Malty, soft, chewy caramel and a fruity acidity. Toast and hop bitterness on the finish. Love the fruitiness and malt. Nontraditional hop character but fine with me.
