Imperial Hokum but with added pop!
We took a portion of Imperial strength Hokum and barrel aged it in a bourbon barrel for 9 months.
The result is a decadent imperial stout with rich sweet vanilla and barrel aged character which melds the beer together beautifully.

375ml bottle from the brewery. Pours almost black with a thin tan head. Aroma of bourbon, dark chocolate, liquorice, dark malts. Taste is sweet, lots of bourbon, chocolate, vanilla, liquorice, oak, boozy alcohol warmth. Medium bodied, smooth.
Love the bourbon notes in this, elevates the base beer for sure.
