Can from Tavour: pours black with beige head. Aroma is coffee grounds and dark chocolate. Coffee is pretty strong and adds a good bit of bitterness. Body is smooth and creamy. Solid.

Can from Appalachian Vinter. Goblet @home. Nearly black, oatmeal head. Coffee, burnt brown sugar, burnt toast. Sharp, astringent, lingering bittersweet & acrid coffee. Extra grapefruit pith. Faint tartness. Too strong. Basic coffee is basic. A touch milky, low carb, stiff abv, One & done.

Draft at Heist. Pours a deep brown to black with a small beige head. Big coffee forward nose with some light roasted malt and cacao nib aromas. More of the same on the palate. Very coffee focused. Great body. Best stout I had at Heist.
