Great drinks bring people together and break down boundaries. The wonderful team at Fell Brewery came to visit us at the farm to walk the orchards, taste the barrels and craft this blend together. Bisquet, Not Ball’s Bittersweet and Reinette d’obry apples combine to achieve greatness. A delicate daffodil aroma leads to a drink of perfect balance, drinkability and refreshing character. A soft and luscious cider with notes of orange peel, dried melon and ripe apples. 750ml. 6.5%.

Bottle from Beer Ambleside.
Appearance - cloudy yellow to orange with frantic carbonation and at least initially a fluffy head.
Nose - funky, bruised apple and dare I say, a bit eggy.
Taste - more funk, no egg this time. Dry, zesty apple and apple skin.
Palate - medium bodied, tangy and sour middle and finish.
Overall - didn't smell good at all, but good palate.

750ml bottle from Cat in the Glass. Slightly hazed golden colour, bubbly white head that quickly dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of oak barrel, phenolic, leather, funk. Taste is fruity apple, with some orangey notes, meaty, oaky, funky, and drying tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
