I Am Strange is our English-style pub ale that we brewed in collaboration with our friends at Human People Beer and Taproom Beer Co. We brewed this pub ale with English pale, Elwha River spelt, crystal, and pale chocolate malts. This pub ale was hopped with East Kent Golding and Hersbrucker in the kettle and open-fermented with our house pub ale strain. Naturally carbonated.

Canned 8/5/25, drunk 10/21/25.
Clear, lightly-rusty amber with a large, beige head that steadily fades to ring.
Earthy, with mineral, dried leaves and a peppery hop character that is rounded by big, fruity esters from the yeast. Soft malts add lightly sweet bread and there's an almost peanut-like character that is odd, but charming.
Malty with brown bread, lightly toasted, and a gentle sweetness. Earthy, dusty, lightly grassy EKG do their weird thing as usual. Quite fruity, with a healthy bitterness to keep it crisp and dry on the finish. Lingering bread. Interesting and fairly complex, if a bit more toasted and hoppy than I'd think it needs to be.

Can from Tavour. Pours brassy gold with a very large foamy white head. Aroma of light malt and floral hop. Med body or so. A bit malty, but rather dry and Over the Pond bitter. Flavor is the aroma. Very nice.

16oz can from Tavour. Dark golden pour, cloudy, small foamy head. Malty aroma, toffee, leather, tobacco. Taste is malty and mildly sweet, caramel, with a tiny bitter bite to finish it.
