A testament to the value of good friends. After fireblight forced us to fell our own Gin Pear trees in 2021, Little Pomona let us know about a magical orchard that their friends, Dawn and Robin, had recently bought near Much Marcle. This perry is the result of that connection – together we spent a day alongside us handpicking these precious pears; then halved the bounty and each took them home to ferment. This is a classic Gin Pear flavour; gloriously elderflowery with light pear notes, with rather robust astringency owing to the very wet summer of 2023!

Keykeg at Nottingham Beer & Cider Festival 2025. Pale yellow gold colour, bubbly white foam rim and aroma of perry pear, floral, citric. Taste is sweetish and tart, perry pear, flowery, elderfower, with some citric acidity and tannin. Medium bodied, high carbonation, drying peary floral tannic finish. Nicely drinkable

750ml bottle from Ross on Wye, for #rgpm. Golden colour, thin white rim and aroma of flowery, floral, fruit, citric. Taste is tangy & tart, peary, elderflower, pineapple note, and floral citrusy, along with some drying tannin. Light bodied, light carbonation, very dry tart citric & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
