Our new creation, where we've rescued an ancient German recipe that's practically forgotten today.
In the 19th century, lagers established themselves as the most popular beer style, relegating other beers to the background. The rebel brewers of Düsseldorf, who had already rebelled against the beer purity law imposed by the German aristocracy, became the last bastion of resistance against the growing lager trend and continued to brew Altbier with ale-type yeasts. The term "Alt" designated the "old" method of brewing beer, thus preserving an ancient German tradition.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear amber with a lacing, beige head. Distinct Brett aroma. Medium body, fizzy and highly attenuated, faintly soapy and again distinct Brett notes. Another massively infected beer from this brewery. 080925
