5 years ago, HBC 692 was formally released as Talus. Covering the usual craft beer hop characteristics of citrus & tropical fruit, Talus also brings a lot more to the party: grapefruit, pine & sage being some of the standouts. In Flame Skimmer, we chose to celebrate this intense hop varietal by creating a full-bodied & beautifully balanced single-hop DIPA, to showcase Talus in all its glory.
Bold grapefruit & herbal-pine character - a celebration of Talus. Pleasantly full-bodied, balanced by assertive bitterness.
Hazy DIPA - 8% ABV - 440ml can
Hops: Talus
Allergens: Barley, Oats, Wheat

Can. An unclear golden with a beige head. The aroma has notes of melons, citrus fruits, hops, spices, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of melons, hops, citrus fruits, spices, and malt, leading to a bitter finish. 8/1/8/3/16

Great Talus character on the nose and taste follows bringing pineapple and passionfruit and grapefruit, coconut accents, nice green fresh herbaceous talus hoppy edge running throughout, sweet malty backing, solid hoppy finish, nice one.
