Vintage 2012 Black Albert matured for 2 Years in Laphroig American oak, ex-bourbon barrel. Double Eisbocked to 40% abv and aged for another year on the same barrel. Barely drinkbare gagwater. Serving this may result in physical violence.

Bottle sample at the Belgiuminabox warehouse. Pours clear, dark brown. Smell is boozy ( what did you expect ). Taste is straight whiskey at first, but than gives the malts a chance to rise. Very boozy, but at 40 ABV it would be strange if it were not. A bit of the bitter aspects can be found. Silky mouthfeel, but just like the CDOS, its not nearly as thick as one would imagine it to be
