Vintage 2012 Black Albert matured for 2 Years in Laphroig American oak, ex-bourbon barrel. Double Eisbocked to 40% abv and aged for another year on the same barrel.
Barely drinkbare gagwater.

Bottle sample at the Belgiuminabox warehouse. Pours clear, dark brown. Smell is boozy ( what did you expect ). Taste is straight whiskey at first, but than gives the malts a chance to rise. Very boozy, but at 40 ABV it would be strange if it were not. A bit of the bitter aspects can be found. Silky mouthfeel, but just like the CDOS, its not nearly as thick as one would imagine it to be
