25/IX/15 - 35cl bottle @ Borefts 2015 (Bodegraven) - BB: n/a (2015-1312) Thanks to the Danish-German-Scottish tick table for the share!

Clear dark brown beer, no head. Aroma: pure peated whisky and alcohol, nothing else. MF: very alcoholic, burning the throat. Taste: very peated whisky, and that's about it. Not many beer character left in this one, alcohol overpowers everything else but the peat. Meh.

Nearly black, brown fluid. Alcohol, fusels, nutty, liqueur, wood, chocolate, mocha, dark fruit, molasses, lightly phenolic. Fiery, burning MF sustained by sweet alcohol, smoked, tarr and phenolic notes, strong Lapsan Souchong tea with whisky. Huge alcoholburn, well bodied, oily MF. Impressive... to say the least. Don’t try to drink this on your own in one session...

Pitch black, no head. Aroma of peat, ash, cacao, alcohol, Islay whisky. Alcoholic flavour, peat and ash. Finish ash, peated whisky. Quite an alcohol burn. This is as close to pure Islay whisky a beer can get.
(from bottle shared @ THT: Hey Julien is back and Dean’s floor is moist Tasting.)

Bottle at THT. Black, no head. Peat, alcohol, roasted malts, more peat and alcohol. It smells quite nice, but the taste is a bit of a let down, just loads of alcohol with some big peaty notes. Not a beer but more like a young whisky. Decent but over the top.

Bottle shared at THT thanks to Martinus. Pours dark brown with no head. Aroma of pure alcohol, vodka like, bad whiskey. I can’t even continue to rate this, it’s terrible undrinkable rubbish. Struise used to make amazing eisbocks. What on earth is this?!?

Sampled from bottle @ Hey Julien is back and Dean’s floor is moist tasting. Dark brown to black color, no head. Smell and taste are like super strong whiskey. Pure alcohol, some sweetness but this is completely undrinkable. Whiskey lovers will like this I guess but the alcohol just burns and burns.
