Keg at If It Ain't Dutch. darkest opaque brown. Thick foamy beige head. Aroma has boozy dark spiced dough. Flavourwise it's initially sweet (caramel, dough and fruit) before boozy bitterness appears. Medium bodied. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Nice.

Light shade of black topped with a khaki head.
Nose is dark malts, charr, dried fruit esters, toffee, cocoa sprinkle.
Taste comprises dried fruit rinds, dates, toffee, dark malts.
Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a nip of booze.
Okay offering but lacking depth and struggling to break out of third gear for me.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van gebrande mout en chocolade. De smaak is vol gebrande mout, koffie en drop.
