Roasted Grain with a Wisp of Smoke, Subtle, Building Heat, Dry Finish.

A remake of a beer originally released in 2014. A classic porter with the addition of Smoked Serrano Peppers. Fire and Brimstone – the fitting destination at the end of a terrible path. The faces: Gacy, Manson, Dahmer… Why do they do it? Where does the evil come from? Are they products of their environment, or is there a darker force at work?

Smokey nose and a slight smoked forward but no mistake about the spice forward porter. I've had my run ins with rauchbeer but this one even out the smooth with spice and chocolate roastyness.

Pours a near black from a bottle. Aroma is a fire roasted hot pepper with chocolate notes, similar flavor, good amount of heat, well-balanced. Pretty good beer.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Nose brings out rich roasted malt and heavy serrano peppers. Flavour is along the same lines, with medium roasted malt, lots of serrano peppers, and toasted notes. Highly roasted and very spicy. A very nice spiced porter.
