Smoked Porter with smoked serrano Peppers.

Roasted Grains, Slight Smoke, Building Heat.

Fire and Brimstone – the fitting destination at the end of a terrible path. The faces: Gacy, Manson, Dahmer… Why do they do it? Where does the evil come from? Are they products of their environment, or is there a darker force at work? Many questions, but few answers. Fill your glass, and brood on the wickedness latent in the human heart. Then raise the glass in a toast to judgment and justice. Just don’t look them in the eyes, for you might see yourself.

Smokey nose and a slight smoked forward but no mistake about the spice forward porter. I've had my run ins with rauchbeer but this one even out the smooth with spice and chocolate roastyness.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Nose brings out rich roasted malt and heavy serrano peppers. Flavour is along the same lines, with medium roasted malt, lots of serrano peppers, and toasted notes. Highly roasted and very spicy. A very nice spiced porter.

$11.99 bomber,, Wine Warehouse. Ghost 634, bottle #2309/3000. Pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is chocolate, smoked pepper, earth. Flavor is lots of smoke up front, followed by chocolate, more smoke, pepper, then a bit of the spice from the serranos. Medium bodied with a lingering head in the back of the throat.

Draft at the source. Clear very dark brown color, tan head. Aroma of burnt brownie. Big burnt tar taste with a decent helping of peppers that doesn’t overwhelm, but drink this one last.
