Before you lump this in with watered-down, mass-produced pilsners, give it a try. Brewed in the German lager tradition with a pilsner malt character, it’s spicy, slightly sweet, and grainy, with a moderate bitterness to the finish.

12oz can thanks to TAR
Pours clear light golden with a medium sized white head, some lacing. Aroma is fruity, grains and doughy. Flavors are grassy, wet hay, grains with a mild bitterness in the finish
Good, easy drinker

5 week old can into a pilsner. A: Pours a rich clear gold with active carbonation visible. Low head that falls quickly to film. S: No smell at all except suggestion of crackers. T: Floral/herbal hop character with a touch of dry white toast. Crisp, dry and hoppy with a slight hint of lemon pith. M: Light, crisp and refreshing, finishing fairly dry and bitter. Low to average level of carbonation. O: Very good tasting hoppy pils that tastes more German than Czech but the label blurb is confusing. Overall I have to say I’m impressed and recommend it.
