This dark Farmstead® ale—which honors Edward’s sister—is crafted from American malted barley, German roasted malts, European hops, our farmhouse yeast, and water from our well. It was aged in a wine barrel for nearly a year, then aged atop coffee grown by Mulugeta Muntasha in Sidama, Ethiopia, sourced and roasted by Casper, Samuli, and friends at The Coffee Collective in Copenhagen.

Bottle from Chris D: pours dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is light notes of coffee, herbal motes, winy, woody. Taste is slightly sweet, low bitterness, slight toastiness. Light fruitiness from the barrel. A subtle complexity.

Novel beer. Looks great. Pleasant citric tang, some old tart berries, damp wood, earth, background roast, tangy espresso. A little orange peel. Low acidity. Black coffee. Rather cohesive - more so I think than the other coffee Edith. Great beer.
