De Eanske Spontaan, is the first Dutch “Lambic”, beer made from 100% spontaneous fermentation. The beers have matured for 1 year in oak barrels and then another 1 year in the bottle. This batch was brewed in 2014 and bottled in 2015 and entered the market at the end of 2015 (December)

Bottle at home. Aroma is wood, malt, caramel, funk, red wine, leather. Flavour is light sweet with a hint of sour. Also some bitterness. Body is light to medium. Very much like a Flanders Brown. Nice and woody, but very young, I’d like a lot more sourness and complexity in my Lambic.

Bottle @ Ulfborg Gueuze Tasting thanks to Bursprak. Pours clear dark brown with a big brown head. Aroma has cherries, balsamico, malt, funk, vinegar. Taste is balsamico, acetone, medics, funky, vinegary, dark fruits, malt.

Vat 21, bottle 21. Dark brown color. Roast, pepper, licorice, rotten tropical fruit and lots of oak in the aroma. Moderately sour, oaky roasty flavor with tropical fruit, white pepper and caramel. Complex, tasty, well done.

23-09-17 // bottle shared at Zwanze Day 2017 @ Mon Petit Café Stuttgart. Thanks for sharing! Botle from a trade with RW80. Weird beer. Some lambic caracter is there but with a flat sourness and roasted malts ist just unbalanced.

Botella 75 cl en Cimmeria 22..07..2017. Lote 07 Botella numero 009. Color marrón oscuro turbio con poca o casi nada de espuma beige. Sabores maltas dulces con toques de frutas pasas, uvas pasas, higos, pan de higos... Suave acidez final enmascarada por los frutos pasos. Cuerpo medio con ligera densidad. Original. Normal.
