Clear golden blonde topped with an off white cap that thins to spotting.
Nose is grass, herb, lemon rind, hedgerow, lime nip, pale malts.
Taste comprises pale malts, cereals, light citric nip, stale bread, herb.
Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, drying close dusted with light leafy hop bitterness.
Tidy logger bier.

Can from Against The Grain. Hazy pale golden body with a white head that fades quickly. Fine carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of cereal and shortbread. Flavour of grass and floral hops. Thin to medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Light fizz. Light and slightly sweet. It’s fine but not as good as most other SMOD lagers.

On tap at Docker Brewery Folkestone Tap Takeover. Clear beautiful gold colour lasting white head. Is it a kölsch? Possibly. Is it too hoppy to be a Kõln kölsch? Not necessarily. Not too hoppy though. Ale yeast character. Some lemon some lemon curd sweetness. Some hop on the finish. Yep .very dr8nkable and pretty true to style.
