Pronounced coffee and dark-roasted malt flavours that contain hints of cocoa and licorice, and lot of fruit esters from the fermentation. This is a very malty but crisp tasting beer. A strong beer with an easy finish.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7.5 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 7.5

This stout poured a deep black colour with a brown, creamy head. Nice lacing. Scents include, roasted malt, coffee and molasses. First swig was very flavourful with tastes of coffee, dark cocoa, Melloids cough drops and sweet roasted malt. Finish is burnt with ash and coffee flavours lingering.
