The quintessential British Ale - just a hint of tangy afterbite. Our tribute to the more famous speckled bird, which rules that roost.

12oz bottle-pours a light tan head and copper color. Aroma is mild medium malt, some spice/grass, some off sour notes. Taste is sour note-infected?, mild medium malt-caramel, some grass. Thanks decaturstevo for picking this out.

Twelve ounce bottle from the brewery that was significantly underfilled, only up to the very bottom of the bottle neck. Fortunately this didn’t seem to affect the beer too much. Pours an ugly hazy light brown color with poor head retention and lacing. Aroma of grainy malts with mild fruity hop notes. Grainy malts in the taste with light hops and notes of green apple, caramel and subtle cheesy notes. Medium bodied.
