Sample, thanks fonefan! Almost clear mahogany colour, small head. Tart caramelly nose. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel, dark bread and spun sugar. Tree bark and earth in a mid bitter finish.

Thanks fonefan! Rubyish copper colour, small off-white head. Aroma is floral, toasted, wooden and some mild toasted tones. Flavour is floral, some toasted, wooden and mild herbal toens.

Das "Dunkel" vom Ban Bräu, vom Faß vor Ort in Bad Staffelstein, 1.10.2025. - Kastanienrotbraun, schwach trüb. - Nase reich dunkel- und melanoidinmalzig mit karamelliger Sirupsüße, Schokolade und aromatischer hopfenwürziger Herbe. - Antrunk reich dunkelmalzig, mehr bitterschokoladig als röstmalzig und solide toffeesüß. Aromatische hopfenwürzige Hopfung mit leiser Orangenbittere. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang fein malzbitter und fein hopfenherb. - Sehr schönes, rustikales Dunkles mit mehr Fülle und Geschmack als viele.
