A blend of multiple barrels from the Campio Cellar, the Concord Grape Wild Ale is bold and complex merging the tangy, fruity notes of Concord grapes with the unique, earthy character of wild fermentation and barrel aging. Pale Ruby in color, the beer pours with a cloudy, almost natural wine-like appearance. Aromas of ripe berries, hints of oak, and a subtle funk with a juicy explosion of Concord grape flavor, accompanied by a gentle tartness and subtle warming character provided by the higher ABV.

Opaque purple. The grape is prominent on the nose. On the palate, sweet concord grape juice over a mild base beer. Not bad, more sweet and simple, could stand to have more complexity.

Bottle pour at Barrel Fest 2025, pours a deep dark muddled purple with a small white head. Aroma smells Kedem grape juice, not much wild character. Flavour is dry, with a nice Concord grape character, light wild yeast character, and a dry, lightly tannic finish. Pleasant grape character, decent base. Solid.

Bottle pour at Barrel Fest 2025. Pours nearly opaque dull mahagony with a white head. Manure (+) and dark fruits on the nose. Flavour has a decent funk going on, nice manure character, lots of grapes and some cinnamon near the finish. Not bad.
