Bottle dated April 2015.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a glossy hazy burnt yellow color with a concave slim foaminess of a cap of a head. Lacing was here and there.
The smell had some bittersweet orange up front bleeding into sweet grassiness, lemongrass and then the normal peppercorn spice I get in Anchorage saisons. Orange comes out more as it warms.
The taste had a dry spicy to semi-sweet to bitter to sour flavor. Slight citrus leads into a nice finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium in body with a nice crisp semi-sessionable feel to it. Carbonation hits appropriate as a saison.
Overall, as a saison this is very good, everything comes together nicely, of course I’d have this again.

750 c&c from Bine and Vine. Pours translucent light gold with a foamy white head. Aromas of brett waft from the pour. Close up it’s citrus/earthy/brett. Barely med body. Flavor is brett/earthy/citrus. It’s quite dry, and even a bit oaky astringent. Simply wonderful.

Bottle sample at Ariel’s farewell tasting at Max’s place. Thanks zvikar. Hazy golden with a white head. Lovely aroma, funky, with great tropical fruity hops. Dry flavor, funky, oaky, with fruity hops, yeast, earth, light spiciness, and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied, lively carbonation. Very good stuff.

Bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours very hazy burnt yellow with a rather big frothy offwhite head that leaves of sticky lacing and trace while dissipating. Smell is fruity, grassy, spicy and slightly funky with crackers, grapefruit juice, star fruit, moist grass, pine needles, white pepper corns, coriander, dry soil, orange zest and lemon zest. Taste is bitter, slightly fruity, grassy, spicy and slightly funky. Mouthfeel is sparkling, dry, tiny tart, spicy astringent and medium bodied. Finish is bitter with crackers, grapefruit juice, apricots, moist grass, pine needles, white pepper corns, coriander, dry soil, watermelon rinds, orange zest and lemon zest. Solid dry and hopped up saison but considering the extremely high standard of this brewery this is sadly a disappointment. Nicely dry and sparkling but with the hops and spicy phenols it gets a bit harsh and astringent.

750ml bottle shared by Jow, thanks! Pours pale golden with a nice white head. Aroma of yellow fruits and grape, yeasts, light funky, nice. Flavour is balanced between sweetness and bitterness, clean end, rich and complex. Rounded body, medium carbonation. Very good.

At the multi-national tasting held in Rome-Italy on 29/08/2015 (Jow, Mortlach, ippopotamo36 and Marco). Bottle courtesy of Jow, grazie mille! Pours cloudy yellow color, small gassy white foam. Nose: brett, lemon-grass, apricot-peach, wild yeast. Great! Mouth: mild and easy drinking, grainy, frizzy, fantastic!

750 ml bottle into tulip glass; batch #1, bottled in 4/2015. Pours slightly hazy bright golden yellow color with a 2 finger foamy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings around the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big peach, pineapple, tangerine, lemon peel, mango, melon, passion fruit, berry, pepper, pine, cracker, bread, hay, straw, grass, light musty funk, and yeast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great complexity and balance of citrus/tropical hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and light oak/pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big peach, pineapple, tangerine, lemon peel, mango, melon, berry, pepper, pine, cracker, bread, hay, straw, grass, light musty funk, and yeast/oak earthiness. Good amount of earthy yeast spiciness and light pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of peach, pineapple, tangerine, lemon peel, mango, melon, pepper, pine, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Incredible complexity and balance of citrus/tropical hops, fruity/spicy yeast and light oak/pale malt flavors; with a great malt/yeast/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. High carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly sticky/prickly mouthfeel that is incredible. Very dry finish with only a light amount of hop stickiness lingering after the finish. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is an absolutely incredible hoppy wild saison style. All around fantastic complexity and balance if citrus/tropical hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and light oak/pale malt flavors; and extremely smooth and crisp to drink. An absolutely amazing offering all around.
