A blend of two-year old Dawdle (Scurry aged in second use bourbon barrels) for funk and fine oxidative character. Plus fresh Scurry for levity and then wild ale to add a balancing acidity. Re-fermented with a melange of Balaton and Montmorency cherries. Balatons have a deeper, chocolate character and add almost a cinnamon quality. Montmorency are brighter and more acidic; classic pie cherries. Yeah, it’s good.

Peachy red colour with light haze. Funky aroma with some sulphur and tart berries. Sour taste. Slightly acetic acidity like an Oid Bruin. Sour cherry too

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2022. Pours a hazy orange brown with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sour cherry and sweet grains with a bit of pie cherry underlying. Flavor starts with pie cherry and has growing sourness with a bit of sweet grain and light spice backing.
