Bottle at home from Debierkonig, Amsterdam, 10th May 2020. Pours black and thick. Aroma is roasty and ashy, liquorice. Taste is liquorice, roasted malts and ash, dark chocolate and cocoa, never too sweet, grainy mouthfeel, delicious.

Op tap bij Foeders. Zwart met bruine kraag. Ruikt erg naar as, inkt, bittere koffie, beetje droppig. Smaak is enorm droog, as, inkt, bitter, hint van mokka, drop, droog-bittere finish. Volle body. Klassieke Engelse Dry Stout on steroids. Goed.

Tap @ Highlanders as 2019. Very dark brown with medium brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, liquorice and strong salt liquorice. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, liquorice, strong salt liquorice, little ash, warming, sweet and medium bitter.

Draught @ Highlanders Bar, Aarhus. Pours black with a small creamy brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, licorice, peat, medicine notes, smoke, whisky. Flavor is roasted malt, smokey, strong medicine, smokey, peaty, alcohol. Full body, soft carbonation, peaty finish with warming alcohol. 081019
