The following weekend, deep-blue waves are in front of you, golden sand is sinking beneath your feet and your gaze is fixed upon the horizon. While sipping on a lime Shandy Carib, the crisp sea breeze whispers sweet nothings into your ear. The stress of a hectic week is washed away as the foam of the surf tickles your feet and then playfully retreats. This rejuvenating break is exactly what you needed!
A great lager beer is by itself a treasure but a great beer combined with the zing of ginger, the festive and spicy sweetness of sorrel or the revitalizing kick of lime creates winning and classic combinations. This is what the Carib brewery introduced in 1985 – an instant classic. The authentic taste of this light alcoholic beverage is a consumer favourite because its delightful and unique burst of flavours reconnects consumers with fun and memorable times with family and friends.

Bottle at FyaBun: golden with white head. Aroma is loads of lime soda... not quote natural. Taste is like a mix of off-brand Jarritos and a splash of beer.

21/3/2023. Bottle courtesy of DanF, cheers. 0.9% abv. Pours clear golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is sweet malts, leaves, lime cordial. Very sweet with slight metallic bitterness. Light body, oily, average carbonation. Hint of chocolate lime sweets to finish. Okay.

Bottle from Tesco, Guildford. Aroma has light but sharp lime with sugary lagerynessness. Clear gold. Translucent white bubbles form a thin ring. Sweet. Sugary. Lager tinge. Lime? Barely. Light bodied. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Abrupt finish. You know what - I'd happily have thus again. Enjoyable pop.

0,275l from bottle at a bar in Dominica. Yellow clear color, small white head. Smells bit citric, soda, some sweetness, overripe fruits. Average smell. Light body, soft carbonation. Tastes citric, soda, overripe fruits, some sweetness. Finishes light to medium sweet with notes of citrus, soda and overripe fruits. Okish, reminds me a bit of Sprite 5,3,5,3,11

Pours clear carbonated gold, no foam, heavy soda pop carbonation. Smells of strong sweet lime with maybe a vague grain hint. Flavour is medium grain and strong sweet lime, mouthfeel is cloying sugar. This is okay lime shandy, still very much soda pop though.

Bottle from Tesco Supermarket, Borehamwood. Peach-golden with no head and a small carbonation. Is pretty much what it says, it's a shandy with some lime flavouring, and not much alcohol.
