We’ve taken our OG oatmeal stout the “Decade of Darkness” and brought it into the new era with help from our friends at Alternate Route Coffee Co. Expect rich Chocolate and Toffee notes with an amplified coffee character from cold conditioning the beer on whole Brazilian coffee beans.

Medium brown, nice coffee nose, sort of thin, lots of coffee. Light but good flavour.

Tons of coffee here. Too much probably. Almost vegetable like aftertaste here. Some roast, a little caramel. Black pour without much head or lacing. Lacks balance. Tap at the 105th street location.

On tap at Campio, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has a nice deep coffee character, toasted malt, and a touch of cocoa. Flavour has a nice medium roast coffee character and dry toasted malt base. Nice coffee character but the malt base is rather flimsy. Decent.

On tap at the brewery. Pours deep dark brown with a beige head. Tons of coffee and roasted malts on the nose. Flavour has a great roasted coffee profile, nice roast. Solid stout.
