This classic, 6.5% abv, stout is brewed with cold steeped, locally roasted Cafe Racer XXX 865cc coffee to turbocharge the beer with intense flavors and aromas of roasted coffee; then cask infused with chocolate and vanilla for an extra rush of flavor. Chocolate Vanilla X-9 is at the line; pin the throttle!

Bottle. Pours black. Smells of cheap chocolate candy. Tastes the same along with cigarette ashes and rubber. Not good.

Draft at the DC Beer Festival. Poured a very dark, maybe cola color with a deep tan, medium sized head. Aroma was lots of roasted coffee, bittersweet chocolate. Cold pressed coffee notes. Pretty tasty.

On tap at vintage and I think I heard the maid say this was the vanilla one but was not sure. Smells like what else? Black cold coffee. Looks same. Initially a farmy feeling black cold coffee thing with just the right amount of alky. Coffee is in yer face tho, wew. However, you’d never know this was 6%.
