Family Vines is a series of beers made with grains and grapes grown by our friends and supplier, Thrall Family Malt.
The fourth release is made with grapes from the 2023 harvest at Thrall Family Vineyard. Riesling, Grüner Veltliner, and Aromella grape juice was cofermented in stainless steel with our preferred table beer recipe and house yeast, then lightly dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin before bottling.

750mL bottles May 2024, drunk 10/1/25.
Clear, soft white grape with a hint of light rose. Large, white head.
Beautiful Brett is understated and complements the fruit of the grape which isn't big, sugary, overdone, but rather rustic, soft, understated, as well. Rustic grains add biscuits and cracker but little malt needed for balance on account of the delicate grape, and acidity.
Light and fruity with excellent, interesting Brett. Nothing overdone or dominant. Body is very light and the flavors are delicate. Almost reminds more of a gently sparkling, dry Riesling. But of course there's the Brett and rustic grain. Low acidity.
