Alberta is a great place for people that love beer and love to try new things. That goes for both the drinkers and the Brewers out there. For a place with not-really-in-the-grand-scheme-of-things a lot of people, we have a pretty outsized number of breweries that lean into wild ales, spontaneous and mixed ferments and all manner of beers that take forever to make and are big pains in the rear. It's all in the love of the game as they say.

So we are naming this one an Alberta Wild Sour, to celebrate this and, well, properly describe what this beer is. It's a mashup mixed ferment beer with custom malt from Red Shed Malting, Williamette hops from local hop yards and hybrid yeasts.
